Depending on the Services you use, and the requirements of applicable law, the categories of personal data we collect will differ.

Some data is automatically collected as part of using the Service.

- In-Game Data, such as data about your account, game progress, internal account ID, and total play time.

- Country of Access, which is derived from IP address. This is only used as part of our analytics, and to ensure we have good coverage for localizing our content.

- Data About Service Use, related to In-Game Data, including your interactions with other players inside the Service.

Why We Collect Your Data

First and foremost, we collect your data to provide you with a great experience using any Service of ours. Our general purposes include:

- Absolutely Necessary Data, such as the minimum amount of data needed for the Service to work correctly and securely for all players.

- Diagnostic Data, which helps us track down bugs and fix them, without requesting players provide the data manually.

- Keeping You Informed, such as sending you timely communications if you need to reset a password, if there's a suspicious login on your account, or other similar activity.

We also have a legitimate interest in carefully collecting, handling, and protecting necessary data to:

- Build Great Experiences, such as updating, developing, and enhancing the Service and player profiles.

- Enhancing Accessibility, such as offering alternative input or usage methods for the Service, based on player feedback and interactions.

- Respond To You, such as when you submit support tickets, need help with something on the Service, or have a question or suggestion.

- Foster A Safe Community, both between us and our players, and between the players of our Games themselves.

- To Keep The Service Fair And Safe, which gives us a legitimate interest to process the data necessary to moderate chat messages, analyze and monitor use of the Service, and to take appropriate action against misbehaving, abusive, fraudulent, or hostile players.

Ways We Don't Use Your Data

We strongly believe in only using your data for legitimate purposes that enhance your experience. To that effect, we will never collect or use your data in the following ways:

- We do not use data for advertisements or ad targeting. We do not include advertisements in-game, and your in-game data is not used to show you advertisements outside of the Service.

- We do not track you outside the Service. No cookies, trackers, or other intrusive technology are used to infer your actions outside the Service.

- We do not share your data. Your data is never sold or shared with outside or third parties.

Who Can Access Your Data

Depending on the specific data in question, your data can be accessed by others in limited situations.

- Other Players And Users, when using social features can, for example, see your profile data, read chat messages you send them, and see messages you've posted in community forums.

- Our Service Providers, such as the vendors who help us provide the Service. We go to great lengths to assess the vendors we work with, and your data is only processed by our instruction to provide the Service. This includes hosting servers, transmitting bug reports, and preventing fraud.

- Public Authorities, in the ways required by law, in the protection of the rights, property, or safety of us, you, our players, or others, may require we disclose your data.

International Data And Data Transfers

Because our Service is inherently global, your data can technically be transferred anywhere in the world as part of operating the Service. Different countries have differing data protection laws than your own country, or our country of origin. Because of this, we take extensive measures to safeguard your data to our highest standard, regardless of where it is technically located, in accordance with both GDPR and CCPA.

Your Rights, Options, and Choices

We want you to feel in control of how your data is used. You have the following options at all times:

- Opt Out Of Marketing Emails. Any newsletters or marketing emails will have an direct opt-out link included.

- Access The Data We Hold About You. While minimal in scope, you are entitled to receive a copy of your data in an electronic format if you request it.

- Your Right To Delete Your Data. At your confirmed request, we will manually erase all data we have on you. Note that this may disrupt your ability to use the Service. For example, if you request your account be deleted, you will be unable to access the Service with that account.

- Your Other Rights And Choices. You have the right to make other requests to us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with any applicable laws.

- No Retaliation. You have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment as a result of your exercise of these rights.

How We Protect Your Data

Data Retention

As long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you with the Service, we will retain your data. We may periodically delete unnecessary data. For example, if an inactive account made a bug report six months ago, we may review and erase that data.

Data Safeguards

We continuously develop and implement technical, operational, and physical security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, tampering, misuse, or alteration.

Children

It's really important to us to protect the privacy of children online. In general, the Service is not accessible by children under 13 years of age (or other ages, as required by local law). No part or aspect of the Service knowingly collects personal data from players who are children.

If you are a parent or guardian and wish to review any data gathered by an account used by your child, or wish to have that information deleted, you may contact us directly as described above. If we become aware that a child has provided us with false information intended to bypass our policies, we will delete any personal data we have collected, unless there's a legal obligation to keep it, and we will further terminate the child's access to the account.

CCPA - Inside & Outside California

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) gives consumers more control over the personal information that businesses collect about them. While some businesses extend these protections only to residents of California (such as when a business relies on the sale of personal information for profits), we extend these protections to all users of the Service.

The Right To Know

You have the right to know what data we've collected about you. You can receive a copy of your data by contacting us.

The Right To Delete

You have the right to have your personal data deleted. Contact us and request your data be deleted, and we'll delete your data. Very few limited circumstances, such as legal investigations or critical Service maintenance, can delay or limit our ability to delete your data.

The Right To Opt-Out

You have the right to opt out of your personal data being sold. Lucky for everyone involved, we don't sell your personal data ever. We ensure the vendors we work with for legitimate purposes don't sell your data, either.

The Right To Non-Discrimination

You have the right to exercise these CCPA rights without discrimination. We're pro-privacy and want you to feel in control. If you want to exercise your rights, we will respect your decision to do so.
