Role Overview
As Lead Producer, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of the production pipeline of our currently unannounced project. You will work closely with our development team and investment partners to create timelines, check-ins, and milestones to measure the progress of our project.
Being an exclusively remote studio, autonomy and accountability are key. As a Good Trouble employee, you will not be micromanaged or expected to micromanage others. Team members are expected to keep their own schedules and organize their own tasks. Our structure means that we all share a great deal of trust in the completion of labor, and that we’ll stick on task and on schedule.
Responsibilities
Lead the development team in the production of our game, ensuring that our project stays timely, positive, and focused.
Perform regular check-ins with team members to evaluate progress, needs, and pain-points. Work with team members, management and stakeholders to make adjustments should issues arise.
Create, enact, and track detailed timelines including setting short, medium, and long-term goals that encourage the healthy productivity of our team, forward momentum of our project, and satisfactory milestone advancement for our project partners.
Ensure cross departmental communication to surface and resolve blockers
Minimum Requirements
3+ years in games production experience
1+ shipped project as a producer
Strong communication skills
Empathy and understanding around accessibility
Strong accountability and asynchronous work skill-set (Notion, Slack, etc)
Nice-To-Haves
5+ years experience in production on Games as a Service / Live Multiplayer Games or Software Services Product Management
Two or more shipped projects as a producer
Experience building accessible games and/or technology
Trained in Agile or Scrum techniques
Who You Are
As our lead producer, you are highly detail oriented and capable of performing well under pressure. You’re receptive to the idea that personal accountability creates a chill work environment where everyone's work is informed, stable, and not crunching. You’re confident in your work, and you’ll be able to set and achieve measurable goals on your own. You’ve got excellent communication skills and are able to clearly outline your thoughts when confronted with a task or obstacle.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range from $90,000-$120,000, alongside stock options in Good Trouble.
